I'm trying to find the humor in a lot of really un-funny things right now, stalkers seemed like a good idea at the time.

[And from there, he stops responding to texts. It's been some time since he's seen Sigma, given the whole Melting His Arms Off debacle had resulted in no small amount of shrieking and running the fuck away. He wasn't proud to admit that, but it had freaked him out. He'd never used Cataclysm on a person, only objects, and he had certainly never wanted to find out that it would melt through flesh like it disintegrated iron, least of all on Sigma. So he'd done something of an acrobatic pirouette off the handle of sanity and after ensuring Sigma's habitual fainting due to whatever power enhancements he received wouldn't leave him any worse off (which, really, how could you be worse off than having your arms melted off by a kid in a leather catsuit), he'd fled.]

[And now he was coming back, staying mostly out of sight in the trees and shadows until he came upon him. He stopped just out of Sigma's line of sight, steeling himself, and held his breath as he dropped from the tree into a crouch. He stood and offered an apologetic, crooked grin, raising one clawed hand in a sheepish wave.]

[ While he couldn't blame the poor guy for being hella skittish, he... well, also couldn't blame him for ditching him, really. (Okay, he could a little bit, but he's fifteen...) Dick move, yeah, probably, but if the tables were turned and he'd just accidentally mutilated the kid, he couldn't claim he wouldn't have flipped his shit just as badly at that age. And from the admittedly very little he remembered, it had been pretty awful. ]

[ Even now, the Chat Noir that slips quietly into view from a nearby tree still looks half strangled by the ghost he'd just seen. For what it's worth, once he spots him, Sigma offers up an equally lopsided smile and a wave before delegating his good hand to the task of shoving him up to his feet. Graceful isn't a word that comes to mind, but he manages. ]

A-- Chat! [ That's gonna get hard. ] Hey, you alright?

[ Y'know, physically. Let's both gloss over mentally, because it's Fine. ]

[As soon as Sigma moves to stand up, and uses one arm more than the other, Adrien zeroes in on his state, and the not-bones and not-blood, and then dutifully ignores all three in favor of rushing at him to help him up with a strangled squawk of a sound.]

Funny that the guy with melted arms is asking me that! Let me, uh. Help you...

Y'know, I haven't seen it happen much, but I feel like it's usually kind of obvious how the guy with melted arms is doing...

[ He laughs wearily, a little at the kid scampering up to help him, mostly at the situation as a whole. What a stupid accident it was... And yet when he goes to help himself up on the other's arm, his reach can't help but falter abruptly. ]

You, uh... Done with all that, by the way?

[ His grin involuntarily catches a shade of apprehension as he points to the proffered black-gloved hand. Just being sure... ]

[And he reels back immediately, putting his hands up above his head.]

I! Hope so? Yes?? I haven't melted anyone else's arms, at least. Which, at this point, isn't exactly much of an improvement, since yours are still melted.
